Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband of six years asked (by blowing a dart gun at me) for out of the marriage...we had filed jointly in 2009 with free AArp volunteer accountants....he did not offer the inheiritance forms or letters he had gotten at the time of his Mothers death....anyway we used a mediator here in florida...we even tried to prove that the amount of taxable moneies was not valid....he had a panic attack....screamed at me...but ended up sending the whole amount to the IRS...almost $10,00.00.....I knew he had had an affair that year (2009) but thought he had come back to me...wrong!! he was sleeping with this woman even as we filed and got engaged to her one week after our divorce was dissolved which here in Florida took only 6 weeks. Now he comes to sweet talk me re: he had hidden the packet from IRS for 2 Months!!! when I showed it to him...he just smiled and said he was trying to avoid that mail. I had purchased a new washer and drier in 2006, but they sat in garage as we took advantage of the $8,00.00 tax credit in late 2009....so now hecomes to me one day before he goes to court and wants to BUY them for his "landlady" he deducted the cost of those appliances from the $4,000.00 that he says I owed plus the added $410.00 interst the IRS had levied on US! My question if he was seeing this woman and the IRS is satisfied do I owe this cad one single penny? Please say no He GAVE me the house with a quick-claim deed and I am facing foreclosure maybe next year. Thank you so very much whatever the answer is....he has been harrassing me regarding this matter...our decree states that each party shall pay half of the money owed...but rep from IRS says it doesn't work that way as long as they have their money I cannot afford to repay this sorry image of a man...nor do I want to HELP!!! If he paid the IRS and they are satisfied then you owe nothing. If you were awarded the house and all furniture and fixtures then you owe him nothing If your papers said you were to give him the washer and dryer - then you have to give them to him. If they do not state that - then tell him to find a new dummy to push around.
