Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

can I leave the state of florida with my child

I was divorced in 2000 and it does not say I have to remain in the state of florida with my son in my divorce so can I move to north carolina with my son without my ex husband(his father)stopping me?

Please contact my office to arrange an appointment so that we can discuss the particulars of your divorce decree. The short answer to your question is no, you probably cannot simply leave Florida with your son.
