Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Hi, I am in a marriage that has been before the courts on 3 seperate occassions. Each time, we would decide to back out and work out the marriage. Recently, I have come to the realization that neither of us are really happy. We just have been working too hard to keep together for the sake of our children. I have an 11 yr old daughter, who turns 12 in April and a 10 yr old son, whose bday isn't til September. Both have noticed changes in the home and have expressed them. Especially their dislike of their father resuming back to his drinking. My question is this, in the state of Florida, How old do the children need to be for a judge to typically hear them during a hearing?

Locksley Wade Law Office of Locksley O. Wade

It is up to the judge to decide . . . there is no minimum age . . . besides, Florida is a no-fault divorce state; meaning, the reason for the divorce is generally considered "irreconcilable differences."
