what is meant when a 'notice of intent' is filed? This is indicated in the Dissolution of Marriage with Children case.

In most cases, this refers to putting a parent on notice that the other parent plans on relocating the child to a different city/state. However, a notice of intent can serve to notify an individual of another individual's intentions during the proceedings.
