Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

needing to know

Daughter lost her kid, her and her husband sued for malpractice 3 years ago, during that time they got a divorce and just recently she remarried. A month into the marriage the malpractice suit was settled out of court. My question to you is, would her current husband be intiled to half her settlement if they got a divorce?

No, but it would be considered when the court looks at the financial picture of each party.
