Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I am paying child support to my ex for my son, who is a Junior in high school and will be 18 in August. Can the support order be changed so that the child support is paid directly to him when he turns 18, even though he still lives with my ex?

Generally, child support will end on the child's 18th birthday or graduation from high school within the normal course of matriculation whichever is later. More information would be necessary to ascertain the basis upon which you are continuing to pay child support in general and when your obligation is scheduled to end. The support is typically paid to the parent with whom the child is residing and not directly to the child.
