Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have a question about adult adoption. If I am only being adopted by a single mom then that only cuts out my birth mom and not my birth father right? We want to make sure my father can still remain on the birth certificate and that it only effects my birth mom. No one can seem to answer this.

If you are being adopted, the birth parents are removed from the certificate. YOu become the child of the adopted mother.
