Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I served my husband with divorce papers Oct 6th and he had the normal 20 days to respond. That time came and went with no response so my attorney filed the paperwork to have him "defaulted". Suddenly yesterday, his attorney calls my attorney and said he had misplaced the paperwork and had meant to send it in. Is this legal? It has been alomost 2 months since he was served.

my advice is to talk to your attorney, and not go behind her back by seeking advice on the internet.
