Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

visitation

I just recently moved to NC with my husband (military) and my 3 year old son. My son is from a previous relationship, but we were not married. His father lives in FL and he supposed to get visitation for a week a christmas. I am the primary custodial parent. His father does not have a place of his own for the child to stay when he goes to visit. He stays with his 17 year old girlfriend and her parents. Sometimes stays with his father, and his sister also stays there. His father is very unresponsible and I have been taking our son to a phyciatrist because he has problems with behavior and he has been getting a-lot better. His doctor has told me that if my son goes to visit his father and hes not going to be on a schedule like is with me then he is going to have problems. What can I do? We signed a agreement through the court (FL) about his visitation what can happen if I deny him visitation? Even if its in child's best intrest can I get in trouble? I will be going to FL the week after my son is supposed to be visiting his dad and I'm trying to let him see him durring that week so he can stay with me and my family and visit his dad durring the day, I just don't know what to do! Thank you!

Re: visitation

Unless a NC court will take jurisdiction you can seek modification of the court order in Florida
