Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My wife's ex-husband had control of all their finances, I am currently going throught them and I made the following discovery. Her ex rolled his college tuition costs into the house mortgage. My wife has ownership of the house and is paying for the house and his tuition. He did not disclose this information in the divorce settlement do we have any chance to get this money back? It totals just over $27,000!

If the marital settlement agreement and/or dissolution order was based on clearly inaccurate or deceptive information benefiting one spouse, the other spouse can petition the court to modify the court order. A substantial change in circumstances or such deceptive information can be the reason for a supplemental petition to modify the existing court order relating to division of debts and property, alimony, child support, visitation, or other matters.
