Legal Question in Medical Leave in Florida

i work for a company and told them that my mother is now under hopices and that i was advise to put a fmla form in my folder my store manager doesnt want one in my folder but i have been getting disresect from my department head that i can not leave when the firedepartment shows up at the job site to tell me that they had taken my mom to the hospital what should i do with this problem?

You should formally apply for FMLA leave as necessary to take care of your mother. If you have problems with retaliation, you should contact an attorney and I would be happy to discuss the matter with you.
