Family Medical Leave Act

Can you be fired from if out on FMLA? I have been employed for 7 years in the same position. The company has 450 employees.

No you cannot assuming you gave your company proper notice of your intent to take FMLA leave originally and you have not been out for more than 12 weeks. I recommend consulting an employment law attorney immediately.
