Legal Question in Medical Leave in Florida

Returning to work after FMLA

If I choose not to return to work after the 12 week leave, will I then be charged back for health insurance benefits incurred during the leave? E.G. The labor and delivery benefits.

Re: Returning to work after FMLA

A company can require that you pay health insurance premiums while you are out on FMLA leave. Assuming the premiums have been paid by you or your company they cannot cancel your health insurance retroactive to 12 weeks ago and force you to pay the cost of benefits already received.
