Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

7 yrs ago I co-signed a student loan for my son's fiance. She graduated school and disappeared. I have been making the payments ever since. She has never paid any payments. I recently found out where she is living. She is living in Pennsylvania and I am in Florida. I wish to sue her for what I have paid and find a way to make her legally responsible to the remaining balance. Do I first obtain a judgement in Florida or should I go directly to Pennsylvania?

You could do it two different ways. You could either file suit in Florida obtain a judgment and then have it domesticated in Pennsylvania, assuming that there is some basis to exercise jurisdiction over her in the State of Florida. The other way would be just to file suite in Pennsylvania.
