Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

If a CEO of a multi million dollar motivational company is fabricating lies to the public about its childhood in order to gain the trust from the public to show that it came from "a drug infested childhood to where he/she is today in a multi million dollar company and none of it is true about this person's childhood and they are reported for this deceivement to the public, by a person who can prove they have been fabricating everything about their childhood, can that person be sued for libel, even though the truth has been revealed?
