Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

hurricane sunk boat, are we resp. for damage to home

Our sailboat was just destroyed by hurricane wilma. Though on a secure mooring, other boats dragged onto us, causing us to sink against a private home's dock/seawall. Our boat was completely destroyed. We have arranged for a local salvage company to raise her and tow her to their slips. we will have to pay for the disposal of the boat. Are we liable to the damage done to the homeowner? there are several boats right there with us and we cannot figure out who destroyed who or what. the hurricane was devastating in that area and we have applied for fema assistance. We live on the boat and have lost EVERYTHING. I work and my husband is retired on disability. Thanks,
