Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

lemon law

Ok I bought a car from a dealership and it was ''as is''. After 2 days of having it i dicovered there were problems with it that were repairable but i would end up paying more than what the car is worth. I have reasonable belief that there was fraud and misrepresentation involved. Is there any way I could just return it and get my money back?

Re: lemon law

Almost certainly you are stuck with it. That is why they call it "as is." The contract you signed probably also says that there are no prior statement that you rely on. Technically, if you could prove that they said something that was false that you relied on and that they knew was false, then the contract becomes void and you can return the car. Proving it is another matter, however. It is your word against them and to a judge or jury it sounds like sour grapes.
