Please explain technically what does that involve in regard to a restraining order? I have restraining order on ex b/f and he has one on me,he has a new g/f,she has emailed me,etc,I have also made contact with her,I never mentioned him, could I be in contempt of court for that?

Yes, it's possible that both you and your former boyfriemd could be in contempt of your respective civil protection orders due to such contacts.
Re: Third party contact
You need to look at the restraining order very carefully. What is the scope of it and its intent? Does it involve all contact; that is oral, physical, distance, or a combination? If it includes any contact, then contact thru a third person may be a violation. It is best to have a lawyer look at the order itself and the reason for it to come up with the best interpretation.
