You need to look at the restraining order very carefully. What is the scope of it and its intent? Does it involve all contact; that is oral, physical, distance, or a combination? If it includes any contact, then contact thru a third person may be a violation. It is best to have a lawyer look at the order itself and the reason for it to come up with the best interpretation.
