Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
I have recently discovered that for the past 3 years, since moving to a new home, that my son's grandmother has been sending holiday cards with money in them to my son at our old address. None of them were returned to her. Then 2 weeks ago she sent a letter to me at the same address (our old home) and the current owners sent it back to her. When she inquired about this we deducted that the new owners of our old home have been keeping the cards with money in them intended for my son. We did submit a change of address with USPS, but that stops after a year. Isn't it illegal to open someone else's mail and keep the contents--over and over again? What can we do about it? Thanks!!

Call the police but since it was cash I am sure the recipient will deny.
