Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Suing Walmart

I was allowed to refill my neighbors prescription of Lortab twice at Walmart. They did not ask me for an ID. Both times I went to pick it up I stated I was picking up FOR the person. It's a controlled substance and apparantly anyone can pick up anothers pills. However, I got caught and now I'm paying the price. I'm wondering if there's a lawsuit I could bring against Walmart for allowing this to happen. I don't think they followed proper protocol in asking for ID.

Re: Suing Walmart

It's not their fault that they did not prevent you from breaking the law. In any event, they will claim that you did present ID or represent yourself to be the other person.
