is it against the law to mix medication that says, do not drink with alcohol'' with alcohol?

It is not "against the law." It is stupid and it can kill you, but there is no law that says you cannot have a glass of wine if you are taking medication that warns you not to mix alcohol with the medication. You shouldn't do it, though. There are a lot of things in life that you should not do even though there is no law against it. This is one of those things. It's a pretty big one, though, since mixing alcohol with drugs can eliminate the effectiveness of the medication, injurre you, or kill you.
