Legal Question in Health Care Law in Florida
Ryan Haight Act
I'm involved with the telemedical industry which i Know will become illegal April 16th 2009. President Bush signed the Ryan Haight Act last year. I'm moving forward to amend the business to fit these new laws but the DEA just raided a client of mine who I just met and have done no business with yet. He gave my business partner and initial payment. He said the DEA had pictures of me and that they knew who I was. My question is Am I in any trouble and how is the Face to Face doctor business illegal?

Re: Ryan Haight Act
YOu may very well be in some trouble. I would avoid popsting to public boards and seek competent counsel. If the DEA comes to speak with you I would avoid it unless you have a lawyer to advise you.
