Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
Affidavit of support question -immigration?
What if the petitioner received an email stating that the national visa center is waiting for form i-864 affidavit of support to be completed regardless of petitioners income should joint sponsors be involved since they never asked for them
1 Answer from Attorneys
A petitioner MUST complete the affidavit of support. If the petitioner's income is below poverty guidelines (or have no income at all), they are still required to submit their own affidavit, plus a joint sponsor might be required.
