Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
I am applying for Naturalization, I have been a legal resident since 1987. I only have records of my trips outside the U.S. from 1992 but I know I made a few trips outside the U.S. between 1987 and 1992 but I don't remember the exact dates. Should I just write that I don't have records or my application will be denied. I am 81 years old. None of the trips were for more than a month at a time.

You should provide all required information "to the best of your knowledge". If the trips abroad were less than 6 months long, it shouldn't affect your application negatively.

Note: The above response is provided for legal information purposes only and should not be considered a legal advice; it doesnt create an attorney-client relationship. If you would like to request a follow-up confidential advice on your specific situation and regarding U.S.A. immigration-related issues, we can offer a paid consultation by telephone or email to clients from all States and globally. Please visit our website http://www.law-visa-usa.com/contact_us.html for more details.
Answer the question to the best of your ability by indicating "in or about" or "approximately" for the time frames. The government doesn't expect you to perfectly have memorized every trip in and out of the U.S.
The above is general information and doesn't provide advice upon which you can rely on for a specific result. It does not form an attorney client relationship.
