Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
If someone did not have a court wedding in India just a traditional Hindu wedding and no certificate was filed with the courts. Does this person need a certificate to apply for his wife to come to usa with him. The Husband will come on an h 1 visa but wants to bring his wife.

If husband wants to bring his wife on H4 visa to USA, they have to have a proof that they are legally married.
A marriage is valid and legal if it conforms to the laws of the country where it took place. Therefore, check with an Indian lawyer if your marriage is considered valid and legal.
