Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
We had an employee that was terminated last week for an I-9 violation. She was using someone else's social security number and she had an expired Colombian passport. She worked for the company for 8 years. We were taken over by a payroll company last month, and they found the information. The hiring manager is gone, but the controller who knew about this is still here. Can this be reported? Obviously it's fraud and the two knew when hiring this individual.
