green card holder want to marry girlfriend

i am 2 and half year green card holder and have girlfriend in the philippines. my question is. which is faster for my girlfriend to join me here in the usa 1) by marrying her while i'm still a green card and petition her? or 2)wait til i become a citizen and petition her as fiance?

As a wife of a green card holder, an approximate wait time for a priority date would be 5-6 years.

When you become a naturalized USA citizen, however, it can speed up the immigration process significantly because she will be entitled to a visa as an immediate relative.
