I have green kart. Its been 2 years i applied for my son(F2A preference categori he is 13 years old) and his case been prove july 2008. Last letter was waiting for visa number in turkey. How long will take or legally is there any time limit for this case. As result of prove are they waiting for my citizenship. What is going to happen when visa number availabe will he came with me. I am worried. Can you give some information after visa number i can prepare my documention?

Your son has to wait abroad until his priority date becomes current. In your post, you didn;t specify whar is the priority date. He can become eligible to emigrate even before you become a US citizen if the priority date becomes current. Right now, in this visa category they process cases filed in December 2006.

Why didn't he become a green card holder with you? How did you become a permanent resident?
