I became a permanent resident 4 years ago through my ex husband about a month after I as aproved he filed for divorced, now I want to go to Mexico but im scared that they might not let me back in since we got divorced so soon after I was approved

Your divorce is not an issue when re-entering with a greencard. Make sure you have a "permanent resident" card that is valid, not a conditional resident card that is expired, & a passport valid for at least 6 months, when you re-enter the United States. If you plan to be gone for more than 6 months, you are going to need apply for a Re-Entry Permit before you depart.
If you file for naturalization, then you divorce may come up as an issue, however, it is not necessarily going to be an adverse issue. I suggest discussing it with an immigration attorney if/when you file.
