Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
i have a seventeen year old nephew who wants to visit here with a torrist visa, but i wanted to know if i could legally claim him for residency because he is a minor and i am a U.S. citizen, will i be able to do this and will he be able to go to high school and continue traveling to his country, what are the consequences if he does?

He can visit on a Visitor's visa. However, you can't "claim him as a minor for residency" and can't help him to obtain permanent residency (green card).
He can't attend public school in USA while here in a Visitor's visa.
