Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

Is it true the gov't only offers immigration visas by lottery from October to December? Is there any other way to apply for immigration?

Yes, there is a DV Lottery (or so called Green Card lottery) offered by the US Department of State, and open every year during 2 months, usually, from beginning of October until beginning of December.

It's closed now and will reopen in fall 2010. Entries can be submitted online on the official government website.

You have to be a native of the country which qualifies for the lottery.
