Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

I am working with an immigration attorney and am concerned about how long the process is taking. She is not specifically doing anything bad, she simply has very poor follow up and leaves simple items (i.e. my signing of forms) pending for months at a time. She also barely (i.e. less than 25% of the time) replies to emails, phone call, or texts. We have been going through the immigration process for over two years now. Is there anything I can do, without causing her harm (i.e. I prefer not to file a complaint with the bar association), and attempting to maintain a positive relationship?

Thank you.

Good afternoon. You have the right to be represented by whomever you choose. If the lawyer you currently have is not meeting your expectations, then you have every right to change counsel. However, I always recommend that clients raise their concerns with their current counsel first. This gives the lawyer and opportunity to rectify his or her errors or perhaps there is a legal reason you case needs to drag on, i.e. you're preparing a preference based adjustment case where the visa bulletin is not current for your filing or you hired your counsel for file for DAPA which is no under litigation. Talk it out with your lawyer first and then if you're still not satisfied, hire someone else.
