changing companies who is responible
i filed a claim against an insurance company that will not be my insurance company when they are able to begin the work on my home. are they still liable for the work on my home even when the new company takes over as my homeowner insurance company

Generally, the policy in effect on the date of loss applies to homeowners' claims, and your prior insuer may be liable for damages depending on whether the claim is a covered loss under the policy terms.
