Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
Surrendered Annuity
Sole beneficiary on variable annuity. Mailed org policy, ins company rec'd on 3/9. They wrote check on 3/11 and used value of 3/9. Is this standard, and what about the change of value during those two days?

This is not particularly unusual in my experience. It is buried in the fine print of the documentation that you signed at the outset.
