Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
My boss is harboring a resentment towards me because i had to leave work for an hour and a half with a family emergency (i had to rush my pregnant fiance to the hospital when she was having complications with the pregnancy). He (my boss) called me at home at 2:30am last night and literally cursed at me for aprox. 3 minutes for "not cleaning the kitchen correctly". This was a "conversation" that could have taken place while i was at work or the next day at a decent hour eve. He woke my entire family and left me in a panic. I am worried i could be fired at any second. I have been working for the company for 9 months and have no job security. This scares me, as i mentioned i have a bab y on the way and a boss with anger managment issues. What should i do about this problem?

Realistically, you should start looking for a new job.
You could make a complaint with Human Resources, or a supervisor who supervises your boss to address your concerns about what took place.
