Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

change in shift from 2nd to 3rd shift

I work as a PBX operator in Florida. I was hired for the 2nd shift. Because I went to the director of the dept. concerning my supervisor's behavior, this supervisor has now taken herself off the 3rd shift and has assigned me her 3rd shift. Is this legal? Do I have any rights to speak up about this to the director since I do feel that this is a form of retaliation?
