Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

my company has cut my pay by at least $12000.00 a year. Their reason behind it is that i made too much money last year. My work has increased and they have cut my pay. Is this legal? Also, i just went to the Dr. and i was told to not work for a week because of a lower back problem, now my boss is threatening my job. Is this legal as well?

Hi. They can cut your pay, but they can't fire you for missing a week for being sick.
