law suit pending

I went to my lawyer in 2004, he told me that my case would be over no later than a 1 1/2 years, It is 2007, we have been thur. mediation and both parties agree on a settlement. But the defendent will not pay. That has been almost 1 1/2 ago. My lawyer seem like they are doing nothing I called him he said he was sending papers in the mail (never received) call him back many, many times he will not call me back. Is there anything I can do?

If you agree on a settlement at mediation and papers were signed, you can file a motion to enforce the agreement. If your attorney is not acting on your behalf, you should consuult another attorney. If you would like to contact my office, I would be pleased to speak with you.
