Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Leaving a job

I have been employed at the same dentist's office for 8 years and was offered another job. My reason for leaving is that the new job saves me over 50 miles of driving per day! My employer called the new employer and bullied him into retracting his job offer. Do I have any legal rights?

Re: Leaving a job

Probably not, if what he said was truthful or just his opinion.

Contact the other guy and see if you can keep the job. If not, look for another job. Your boss sounds like a jerk.
