Locked in Building

Is a manager allowed to lock you in a building past your shceduled shift until the duties of the entire staff are finished even if your work is finished and to standard?

Aside from a false imprisonment, this may violate any number of laws, there could be overtime violations, there may be OSHA standards that are violated. In short, an employer who acts in such a reckless manner is probably violating more than one law and this needs to be addressed.
