Repayment of the police academy

I'm currently a police officer in S. FL, for about 1.5 yrs. My dept sent me through the academy and payed me a salary while in it. I did sign a paper staing that I would stay with the dept for 2 yrs or I would pay back the cost of training. Can the dept. make me pay back any more than just of the cost of the academy, i.e. my salary.

Probably not. Its limited to your written agreement.
