Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Statements made by CEO regarding stability of company

I accepted a job with a company on the west coast of Florida in May of 2004. I performed what I considered to be enough due dilligence to assure myself that the company was finacially stable. Three months later it was determined that the past years financial statements had been altered and all that the CEO had promised about my opportunity was nothing but a lie. This also happened to several others. What is my recourse against the company and this person?
