Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
im breaking my lease because there was a possum in my utility room at my apartment. animal control was sent out and he did not catch the poosum there are traps under my apt still there is no possum caught also there is a sour smell in the utility room now. my landlord supervisor wants me to pay fees for breaking my lease and will not grant me my deposit i dont think this is right. its because there living condition of why im LEAVING ASAP. please help me i dont want this on my credit

Under the facts as you have stated, I think that you lose this one.A possum that can't be found and made only one appearance can't justify breaking the lease.
