Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I want to file a small claims suit against my landlord. There is a UPS box address given in the lease agreement, but I know that this address will return to sender with no forwarding. However the lease agreement states that "Any notice required or permitted under this Lease or under state Law shall be deemed sufficiently given or served if sent by United States certified mail, return receipt requested, addressed as follows:".

I have been unable to find a real address for her. If I send a summons to the address in the lease agreement can I then get a default judgement when she doesn't show up. If so, what forms do I use to show that the summons was served correctly and legally.

Send the letter via certified mail does not constitute personal service. Regarding investigating her real address, please feel free to reach me directly. I may have some other options to try.
