Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
FLORIDA RV PARK: I have been a resident here for 2 years and 1 month. I own my travel trailer but no vehicle in which to tow it so I can't very well leave. In March, there was a change in management (owner is the same but is not hands on). I live on a large lot because it was the only lot available when I had to be moved last year due to issue with a neighbor (he was given a written warning ordered by the owner of the park). Now this new manager told me "we can do this the easy way or we can do it the hard way" because she wants my lot for a larger RV. The rent would remain the same even if it was used for storage so there's no really good reason to move me. I don't want to move. I have PTSD from domestic abuse and where she wants to put me (in a sardine like existence) in the back of the park would FORCE me to walk by that guy's lot every single time I need to go somewhere (I don't own a car). Aside from all the multiple reasons for her ignorance of my disability (I am on SSD for PTSD) and my rights for that, does she have any right to just force me off my lot to allow for a larger RV to come in here for the winter? Again, I'm a RESIDENT. She plans to move me for a seasonal tenant (she claims they said they were going to be her long term but the larger RV's NEVER stay more than over the winter). She told me weeks ago the park was full and now she's trying to squeeze in as many more as she can to line her pockets with bonuses from the owner regardless the cost to the residents. All of a sudden she's just wants to move everybody around to suit her needs. All my documentation is current, (registration, insurance, etc). Rent is paid on time every month without fail. I am quiet and stay to myself (divorced, 61 yrs old, no visitors or anything) and I just put in a beautiful flower garden (finished just DAYS AGO) that even she was gushing over. Now she INTENDS to move me. Where can I go to find out my rights? There is absolutely nothing she can hold against me as I have been a 100% perfect resident and in complete compliance with all the park rules since day one . Thank you.

I assume you have a lease for the lot you are own. What does it states because that is what will rule where you are allowed.
