Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
Can my landlord charge me an additional 100.00/month if I choose to remain in my apartment on a month-to-month basis. Currently I am paying 810.00, which will increase to 850 if I renew. If I go month to month it will increase to the market rate of 895.00 + 100.00 month-to-month fee.

yes they can. in fact, if they considered you a hold over tenant they could charge you double the current rental.
