Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
non refundable deposits
I paid $100 app.fee which went towards the first months rent and 3 months of rent deposits in advance $875x3=2625. My lease reads that $875 of that is a ''Non-refundable One Time Move-In Fee. Would you read that payment as my first months rent or what? Can a landlord just take one of my payments for nothing? Thanks for any help you can give me...

Re: non refundable deposits
The landlord may not be able to take the $875 you paid as rent. I would need more information to advise you on this case.
