Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I'm from Orlando FL, My apartment lease ends in 4 months, I live alone but Ive been having a lot anxiety and panic attacks lately wish I'm getting help. Alot gun shots and fights arround here wish it makes me worst, I need to live with my family for support. What can I do to end my lease without loosing my deposit?

read your lease. See if it there is a clause that covers police security or a security company to monitor the area. Either way you should be able to break the lease by proving that the units should have been covered with security due to the crime rate in the area. you will need to get the police reports for the crime if you should have to go to court to prove your case.

Your lease controls. It needs to be reviewed. You may not be able to break the lease because of the gunshots and fights alone. Your attorney will need to be creative like Ms. Becude
