Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

The property owner to where I just moved into 23dys ago has sent me an eviction notice, apparently the Manager in charge of his property has not paid him for a few months. The Manager is sueing the property owner and vice versa. I gave him a deposit and signed a contract. he keeps harrasing my wife on the phone and stressing her out. I feel like its not legal for him to do this. I have spoken to the other tenents of the duplex, and they sense there is something fishy going on with both individuals, as if a sceame to get more money from tenents and new tenets.

I suggest you answer the eviction notice, attend the court hearing, explain your situation, the Judge will probably refund your deposit and allow you 30 days to move.
